Child Suffering From Fever, Given Combiflam, Feeling Sleepy. Shall I Continue?
hello doctor.. My son is 3.5 yrs old and suffering from fever. i use to give him crocin syrup but last night the syrup was finished so i gave him combiflam suspension. Now the fever is not there but he is feeling very sleepy. it does not happen when i give him crocin syrup. Shall I continue with combiflam or crocin?
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Combiflam is nothing but a combination of paracetamol and ibuprofen. It does not cause sedation. You can use crocin or combiflam, anything you like. But crocin (paracetamol) is preferable.
Hope this answer is OK for you. Further queries invited.
Regards, Dr. M. V. Subrahmanyam
