Child With Painless Big Lump On The Right Side Of Neck. Bug Bites Above The Lump. Suggestion?

My 4 year old little brother has a big lump on the right side of his neck. He went to the hospital today but the doctors there had no clue what it was. It just started this afternoon. It wasn't like this in the morning. It is a size of a small sausage. He doesn't seem to show any bad symptoms like a fever or vomiting or hives, so I have no idea what it is. When the lump is touched, it doesn't hurt him.
A few days ago, he got 3 bug bites on his neck right above to where the lump appeared. I was guessing some reaction to the bug bites but I'm still not sure.
Please, if you have any ideas to what this could be, let me know. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, it appears to be due to the bites of the insects only, but if the pain and swelling starts it is confirmed. If the size increase or no pain it could be due to tuberculosis. I advise you to consult a doctor for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
