Child With Recurring Fever And Cold. Prescribed Paracetamol And Fenistill Syrup. Treatment?

hi, My 3 year old boy is getting fever&cold often.we have done blood test and result has come as normal.my doctor told me that its viral fever.we r giving paracetamol and fenistill syrup.but he is still having fever and cold.whats the remedy for this frequent cold and fever?can u answer me pls?

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
Children in that age group may have recurrent fever and the frequency is higher than in adults because of their low immunity.

If all the investigations are normal and your doctor is reassuring you the you need not worry. But the frequency is very high (say more than twice a month or so) then you should get a second opinion.
