Child With Sudden Pain In Right Side Of Stomach, Low Grade Fever, Diarrhea, Breath Smell. What Could Be Wrong?

My granddaughter is 8 yrs. old. She woke up in pain in her stomach and right side and could not sleep again from the pain. She has a low grade fever, diarrreaha , horrible breath smell, and will not eat, no appetite at all. took her to the e.r. labs and urine o.k. Sent home to watch her symptoms. No improvement at all since 3:00 a.m. Can you advise.

Thank you for your query.
It looks like gastroenteritis as she is having diarrhea, fever, and pain abdomen.
Give sips of oral rehydration solutions to prevent dehydration and Tylenol for fever in prescribed dose.
And if she develops any vomitings or pain increases, I suggest you to consult the doctor for follow up.
