Today My Dr. told me I had Cholesterol level 6.9, he also told me this was high. How high is high, is this very very worryingly high, or just it s okay ish kind of high. and What the hell do I do to lower it. I am 41, overweight, not sure of what to eat and what not to eat. Is it the exercising or the losing weight that is important to High Cholesterol.
The UK average is 5.7, ideal is 5 or less
Exercise Increases HDL levels (the ‘good’ cholesterol) and
decreases LDL (the ‘bad’ cholesterol)
