For over a year I have had back pain that has gotten progressively worse. I am almost in constant severe chronic pain in the lumbar section of my spine, and directly under my shoulder blades. I was diagnosed with scoliosis 7 months ago with a 5 degree curve. My whole left side has drooped over, causing physical deformities. The past 3 weeks I've been having massive issues with my knees. It first started off minor on the left side, then it started to swell and turn a bluish brown color. Then it begins to become red above and below that coloring. For the past 4 days, my right knee has joined the party in taking on the same features as the left. I now can barely walk, feel popping every time I bend my legs, and my knees simply looks deformed. I've even developed stretch marks on my knee from it constantly swelling. There has been NO trauma done to either of the legs and I feel like its worse every day. I feel so much pressure and heaviness with my leg, and they are simply weak. I've had an MRI of my lumbar spine done which came back normal. I'm having issues getting the answers I need and I really need help. No X-rays or direct images have been taken of my knees. I am also hyper mobile if that has anything to possibly do with it. I'm really hoping I can get some type of advice or explanation that could possibly be going on.
