Chronic Pain Due To Fibromyalgia. Changed From Oxycontin To Oxycodone. Feeling Sad. Medication Side Effect?

I used to take, after years of chronic pain due to fibrymyalgia, oxycontin. I was relieved for the first time in my life and didn't have any side effects. But, since they changed it to apo oxycodone cr 40mg (I take 2 a day), it is like........not taking any medicine at all. Or so little relief. But, I don't know what's happening to me, I feel sad, very sad and everything is going so great in my life. I am opening a new business, I have all financial help I need, I am about to travel to China and Thailand, but I feel .......like I have never felt before. I always feel like my best friend just died!
My "psycho" friend told me, that it might be the result of changing from oxycontin to apo oxycodone. to be honest with you, I have never felt depressed in my entire life (except maybe a little after 6 years of suffering from fibromyalgia without any medicine and without any doctor knowing what I had) and recently, when my life is turning for the best, I feel like.........dying! My pharmacist told me that apo oxycodone cannot be responsible. The other medicine I take is: senokot, colace and synthroid, that's all.
Please, if you can ever help me, you will change my life. I don't know what to do and I have been feeling very bad, sad and moody for the last 2 or 3months.
Hope hearing from you,
thank you soooooooooooooo much

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The change in the mood that you are feeling is not likely to be related to the change in the analgesic. It is best to remain stress free, do a mild regular exercise and yoga to reduce your levels of stress.
