Hi, Estradiol may help improve bone pains including coccydynia in women, in whom the cause is osteopenia due to estradiol deficiency. This occurs in particular, in women who are peri- or post-menopausal. Dosage depends upon the route of administration. However, please remember that one cannot start taking estradiol without prior consulting a doctor, in person. If you think estradiol deficiency is the cause of your problem go to a gynaecologist, she will review your symptoms and history, examine you & do necessary tests. Only then you can be assessed for suitability of estradiol treatment ( which dose, route & combination etc). Please take good care of yourself & don't start hormones without prescription this can be dangerous.
