hello geethujoby...
welcome to healthcare magic...
wel after going through your query.. i can make out that the medications given by the pediatrician are specific and proper..
ciproflox is an antibiotic.. acetaminophen to reduce fever, cetrizine is an antiallergic which also relieves congestion and nasal block and nasal drainage, and levolin syrup contains levosalbutamol which is a brochodilator which dilates the brochus which wil augment in the proper ventilation..
there are some mild sideeffects of levolin which includes tremors.. tremors are one of the most common sideeffects.. tremors look like the babies hands and body are shivering.. but in fact its just a tremor... there is nothing to worry about it.. nothing wil happen with that and you can continue with medications..
well i hope this solves your query..
wish ur child a speedy recovery..
Hello, I went through the complaints your child have, and the prescription the Dr has given. I have explained the individual action of each drug and why levolin is given and how it is not the cause for shivering Levolin - vitamin, co prescribed with antibiotics and liver protecting agent and shivering might have been due to some other reasons like temperature, urinary infection, weakness and "not" because of the drug Levolin Cetrizine - Anti allergic Ciproflox - Antibiotic Acetaminophen - for fever So continue the same medication. Wishing for a speedy recovery of your child
