Colonoscopy Showed Prolapse In Rectum. Put Surgical Rubber Band. Having Pain In Groin And Anus Muscle Is Weak. Why?

Hi. I had a colonoscopy a gastroscopy and a rectal one done 2nd October. They found a I had a prolapse in my rectum. the dr. put a band on it. but since then I find I go to toilet more often and feel that my anus muscle is weak. I also find it hard to get clean. But I am also having trouble with walking. I get a lot of pain down inside of my leg just below my knee. and in the groin. sometimes it is a real effort to walk. I was wondering if the banding had caused this as I have always been fit and healthy. I will have to get back to you as I have no money at the moment to pay. I am sorry I didn t realize.

Greetings of the day

Pain in the groin and leg is.unrelated to your surgery of rectal prolapse. The pain could possibly be due to hamstring pull that you could have sustained. Hot water fomentation and analgesic will definitely bring the much needed relief.

Take care
