Compression Fracture On Thumb, Had Cortisone Shots. Pain Recurred. Any Advice ?

I was told I have a compression fracture on my thumb . It got caught between a boat and a dock last summer. In December I had a cortisone shot and it improved greatly. By June the pain was back and I had another shot but that has not helped. It is extremely painful in the morning and hurts to write...and I am teacher so I write a lot. Any suggestions or advice?

Hi, Lbagneschi,
Thanks for query.
It seems that you might have mal united fracture on the thumb.
Go for x rat thumb and see the position.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
Ok and bye.
