Hi,
Morning pill otherwise called as morning after pill is an emergency contraceptive pill (ECP). ECPs are generally recommended for backup or "emergency" use, rather than as the primary means of contraception - like when failed to take regular contraceptive pill or conditions like condom rupture (as you mentioned) But it should be taken within 72 hrs. You have taken the tab within the time limit) The fact is, it is not advised other than emergency why because of its temporary disturbances in the menstrual cycle.
If taken after ovulation it may delay the period
If taken before ovulation ( approximately before mid day of your menstrual cycle) may induce progestogen withdrawal bleeding - Your present problem may due to this fact.
If your period is not coming in time after 40 days of your LMP you have go in for pregnancy Test.
