Constant Pain On Left Upper Side, Under Rib Cage, Had Diarrhea. Normal Scan And Tests, Scheduled For Colonoscopy. Suggestions?
I've been having constant pain in my left upper side, on the under side of my ribcage for a month. The psin is always there .. it never moves. I had a negative CT scan, and neg upper GI, neg endoscopy of stomach. I've lost 10lbs, and have no appetite. I've had a couple days with diarrhea but other wise normal stools. I have no pain in the middle of my chest. Every once and awhile pain radiates to back. I'm desperate for an answer. I'm scheduled for a colonoscopy in 20 days. Taking bentil 3 times a day.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The pain on the left upper side of the abdomen with normal scans is likely to be due to a intestine related disorder or a muscle spasm. A colonoscopy is the best way to find out the cause for specific treatment. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
