Constant Urge To Urinate, Blood In Urine, Burning Sensation, Sore Breasts. UTI Symptoms?

Hi, For the past couple of days i have been having a constant urge of urinating accompanied by pain and a burning sensation. Since yesterday i have been noticing a few drops of blood in the urine . Also i have irregular periods. They come after 2 months or sometimes even 4 months. Past 2-3 days my breasts have been sore (something that happens right before my chums.) Could all this be related? do i have UTI?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
Your symptoms related to burning during micturation and pain and urge to urinate again and again indicate possibility of UTI, in infection sometime blood may come but if it is near period time it may come from genital tract.
You should get your Complete Blood Count,FBS,PPBS,S.Creatinine, with urine R&M and culture and sensitivity test and if there is infection a suitable antibiotic course will solve your problem .
In the mean time keep good hygine and take plenty of fluids, which will flush urinary tract.
For your irregular period you can consult a Gynecologist and get a ultrsonography which will let us know ant pathology with uterus and also if there are any kidney stones or any kind of mass or cyst.
If you have fever take paracetamol to get some relief and see your doctor as soon as possible.
Take care.
Good Luck.

Hi thanks for your question.
The symptoms you have described are of urinary tract infection(UTI).Get your urine examination done to confirm it.
Sore breast could be part of premenstrual syndrome which occur few days before menstruation.
Take plenty of water.
You may need antibiotics and antispasmodic drugs .
Consultation with physician is encourged
Hope this answers your question.
