Hi doc I have thyroid and pcod for the past 9 yrs Iam on thyroid tablets and also taking homapatic treatment my problem is i don t get my periods monthly so my gync as given me meprate tablet twice a day ...but I never get my period after 10 days I get my period after 14-15 days is that normal
Hello, I have gone through your query. As you have mentioned that you are having twin problem of thyroid problem and PCOD, your delayed periods can be due to any of these problem.
I would suggest you to undergo a "Thyroid function blood tests" which will give us a clear picture of your present status of thyroid gland. If the results are normal, we can be pretty sure that the problem is not due to thyroid condition.
