The bronchioles that are small tubes that carry
oxygen to the lungs. The constriction of these tubes, their narrowing along with increased secretions results in what is called
bronchial asthma.
Normally the size of these narrow airways increases with age. So even if there is some constriction the bigger size of the airway prevents a adult from having significant symptoms. This is the concept in stating that the symptoms improve with age.
There is only one way to prevent bronchial asthma. Prevent the allergen causing symptoms. This is not a easy task.
Only restriction to food is avoid colored substances. Also give a balanced diet. If a food substance is identified to cause the problem stop it.
