Coughing, Sneezing, Chest And Throat Pain. What Medication Should I Take?
Ive been sick for a few days & I thought it was just a sinus cold but other things has started happening. I been coughing, sneezing , headache , chest hurts, throat hurts, nose running, & my whole body aches & in pain. I ve been taking cold meds but they haven t been helping at all, please let me know what this might be & possible what meds I need to take. Thanks

It seems that you might be having viral infection.
If you do not get well within a day or two,there might be chances of having bacterial infection as well and so you may require one antibiotic medicine course after consulting your doctor.
Avoid cold drinks and junk food.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
With all the symptoms, this looks like viral infection complicated with bacterial respiratory tract infection.
For this you should consult your doctor once and he may start you on antibiotic (I prefer azithromycin 500 mg OD), paracetamol 650 mg three times a day and antihistamine like cetrizine. Based on examination you may require chest x ray for diagnosis.
You also required to do concentrated salt water gargle 3 times a day and steam inhalation. Hope this will help you.
