Coughing Up Blood, Headache, Running Nose, Chest Pain, Hot Flashes. Medical Attention Required?
My brother is currently coughing up a lot of blood, and has all the flu like Symptons including (running nose , head ach, hot & cold flashes, Very tired, and isn t hungry) he however, is not puking. Should this be a major concern to go to the doctors ? Or should he wait It out a bit for a couple days, and see if the blood stops? He does have Major chest pain ...
From the description you have provided, I would request you to take your brother to a specialist at the earliest as his condition is not to be taken lightly.
This could range from an infection, to other severe conditions involving the respiratory system.
Kindly do not take this lightly and visit a doctor at the earliest, the doctor will need to auscultate (examine the lung), and also conduct a series of investigations to establish a diagnosis. Be patient and let the doctor conduct all the tests required to ascertain the diagnosis.
Initiation of treatment at the earliest is the best option for your brother.
Wishing you luck and requesting prompt action.
Thank you for your query, wishing you and your brother good health.
