Could Abdominal Distention Be Due To Liver Damage Or More Likely Small Bowels?
family member involved in motorcycle accident with multiple fracture of pelvis and extremities is now experiencing abdominal distention and therefore the second surgery is postponed. could this distention be due to liver damage or more likely small bowels?

Abdominal distension can be from gas intestinal perforation, or fluid like blood, injury to any organ , liver is also a possibility.
