Could Aspirin Or Celebrex Taken After Total Hip Replacement Cause Dizziness ?

I had a total hip replacement on September 23. I am taking 325 of aspirin twice a day and 200 of Celebrex twice a day. I woke up today, October 19, very dizzy. I am concerned because I have not had any dizziness until today. Could the meds be causing it?

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this dizziness. It would be unlikely that these medications are responsible for these symptoms that you have reported. For sure, dizziness happens once in a while in our lives and does not always have an identifiable cause. However, should it become persistent or recurrent, then we would need to address it. For now, monitor and should it persist, please seek medical attention. My strongest feeling is that this would not happen again. In addition, make sure you drink enough fluids.

I hope this helps. I wish you well and thank you so much for using our services. Feel free to ask for clarifications and more information if need be.
