Hi,

It is possible that the symptoms you are experiencing could be related to Celexa (citalopram), as headache, flu-like symptoms, and muscle stiffness are known side effects of this medication. However, it is also possible that these symptoms could be related to your underlying condition of lupus or to interactions between Celexa and the other medications you are taking.

It is important to discuss your symptoms with your healthcare provider, who can evaluate your condition and determine if any changes need to be made to your medication regimen. Your healthcare provider may recommend adjusting your dose of Celexa or switching to a different medication to treat your anxiety.

Never stop taking any medication without consulting with your healthcare provider first. Sudden discontinuation of Celexa can lead to withdrawal symptoms and may worsen your condition. If you experience any severe or worsening symptoms, seek medical attention immediately.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
