Could I Be Pregnant Having Spotting For First Three Days Of Periods And Had Weakness And Shortness Of Breath?
I was 5 days late on Friday, the 13 took a hpt and it was negative.
I started slgihtly spotting that day all yellowish-tan in color and very light. (common when I first start my period) I normally will go ahead and start that day or the next, generally bleeding moderatly for 1-1/2 to 2 days and severe cramps for the first real signs of bleeding then stop with the slight spotting at this point a red/brownish color.
Anyway, I continued to spot for 3 days very lightly too light for a tampon bc it was making me sore. Today I started bleeding a little heavier enough to fill a panty liner.
I was tecnically, if you consider this to be the day I started even though its not anything like a normal period for me, I am 8 days late.
Some of the symptoms I have had, mostly yesterday were.. shortness of breath, muscle weakness, slight headaches, bad nausea-wet hot mouth, back aches (in my kidney areas on both sides), with no real abdominal cramping but every so often a very uncomfortable feeling.
Im not sure what is wrong, and I was curious if I could be pregnant even while bleeding a bit.

This could either be a hormonal imbalance or even pregnancy. To rule out pregnancy I would advise you to conduct a home pregnancy test using an early morning urine sample at least 2 weeks from the suspected date of conception. Any medications that you are on could also be causing this presentation.
Ruling out pregnancy should be the first thing conducted.
