Could I Have Contracted Herpes ?

The other day I was running with my soccer team. The guy running in front of me has what im pretty sure is herpes from the sores around his mouth. He spit on the ground and i think i felt like what was a drop of saliva land on my face/mouth area. What are the chances/could i have contracted the virus?

You could have washed the area thoroughly with soap and water this reduces the chances of you contracting any germs.
