Could A Very Swollen Hemorrhoid Or An Abscess Occur In The Vagina?

I have a hard lump between my anus and vagina. I have previously had a abscess in the same area as this I think but with the abscess it grew from one day to the next and was extremely painful and couldn't even walk. I have had this lump for a week now. I also have external hemorroids. I have been suffering from hemorroids for many years but I've never in this spot. Could this be a very swollen hemorroid or can this be an abscess again?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Hemorrhoids cannot occur in the vaginal region, but abscesses and cyst are possible around the vaginal opening. Please visit your doctor for a more elaborate evaluation ma'am.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
