Could An Allergic Reaction To Medication Cause Dry And Itchy Tongue?

I am a 76 year old female suffering with a sore, swollen, dry itchy ,tongue and lips. I suffer weakness, dizziness, fatigue, joint pain, loss of balance due to neuropathy. I have several health issues. Diabetes, heart, kidneys, arthritis, sciatica and vision problems. I also take numeral medications. torsemide, spironolactone, isosorbide dinitrate, glipizide er, digoxin, losartan, simvastatin, (colchicine gout), gabapentin, hydralazine, nitroglycerin, 81 low dose aspirin. my supplements are super B-Complex, Mega Red (omega 3), turmeric, and cinnamon. Could there be an allergic reaction to the medications?

Your symptoms seem to be related to diabetes and not to an allergic reaction.
I would suggest you to control your glicemia level and HgB A1c for further evaluation and treatment.
