Could Anxiety, Heart Racing And Breathlessness Be Symptoms Of Ramipril?
I have been taking 5mg ramipril for a few months and have recently been experiencing a bitter taste in my mouth. Also I have occasionally noticed a feeling of anxiety, heart racing and breathlessness and shallow breathing. Could any of these symptoms be down to ramipril?
Hello Ramipril is an A C E inhibitors and most potent anti hypertensive drug . Let me explain as these are side effects of ramipril. fatigue, cough . Breathlessness , anxiety and heart racing ( palpitation ) are not common side effect of RAMIPRIL . However cough may develop breathlessness and heart racing ( if prolong bout of cough ) . Bitter taste is not a side effect of ramipril In my opinion consult your treating physician and get his opinion regarding these symptoms. Good luck.
