Could Be The History Of Acute Bilateral Pulmonary Embolism Causing Short Breath Now?

I had accute bilateral pulmonary embolism just about 10 years ago. In the past year I have been having shortness of breath and Illinois cold weather makes it very hard to breath when I m outside. Could the episode of 10 years ago be causing my difficulty today?

Hello are you taking any medicines for that previous history of pulmonary embolism like tab warf? Your shortness of breath could be from pulmonary embolism, or due to cold. So if you feel shortness breath go to hospital get yourself examined, they will go for xray and CT scan if any findings present on examination. Its better to be ruled out. Thank you
