Could Blood In Stools, Pain In Lower Abdomen And Back And Constipation Be Due To Diverticulitis?
I have noticed lately that when I go to the bathroom if my stool sits in the toilet water for a few minutes I noticed that it looked like blood was seeping out of it.. I do have mild to mediate lower abdominal and lower back pain with it.. I have also experienced constipation within the past few months more frequently.. I do have diverticulitis and I am thinking this could cause this... However months ago my grandson had c difficile and this did happen to him.. He is experiencing his stomach hurting lately so my daughter took him to the doctors today to get checked out....I do not have any answers from his checkup yet... I am concerned that maybe it could be something like c difficile starting out.. Could you Please tell me what you think?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. Your condition appears to be the colitis, may be amoebic, bacterial, or allergic. I advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, ornidazole, ranitidine, till the diagnosis is established. Though not confirmed avoid taking milk, milk products, wheat, and barley. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
