Could Bloody Mucus In Urine And Frequent Urination Be Due To Surgery?

I had surgery on Friday morning and since that time I have had to frequently use the restroom to urinate. I've had UTI infections in the past and it is the same symptoms...pain, urgency, little or nothing comes out. What I have noticed yesterday and today is bloody mucus in my urine. Could tihis be a result of my surgery?
