Hello,

Your symptoms are indicative of a UTI. You are advised to get urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done. If UTI is detected, it will be treated with antibiotics. Keep yourself well hydrated. Take care of your hygiene. However, some STI infections also have similar manifestations like herpes (HSV), Genital warts (HPV), and gonorrhea or chlamydia—burning urination, discharge, and sometimes penile sores. Get clinically examined by a urologist. Get done STD (blood and swab tests).

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
