Could Cold, Tiredness And Feeling Of Crying Be The Symptoms Of Under Active Thyroid?

I m really cold, tired and feel like crying although I am actually very happy with how everything in my life is going. I read that this could mean I have a under active thyroid, how likely is this? My sister has an under active thyroid, does this increase the chances that I do?
