Could Combination Of Under Active Thyroid And Implanon Result In Not Losing Weight?

I have had my implanon for 11 years, I also have a very underactive thyroid, I have just recently found out that a combination of my thryoid and implanon is probably the cause of me not being able to lose any weight despite the amount of exercise i am doing. Is this true

Hello,
Yes, they both are responsible for weight gain or difficulty in loosing weight.
You should not left the under active thyroid untreated. It is easily corrected.
If you are levothyroxine treatment and the hormonal level is within the normal ranges than the thyroid is not considered under active any more.
So, you can give some more detailes and i will be in disposal to help you further.
