Could Cutting Down Salt And Sugar From Diet Cause Fatigue, Nausea And Shakiness?

I m a 30 year old male in great shape, 180 lbs, play basketball twice a week & work out 4 times a week. Recently I changed my diet & drastically cut out salt and sugar but I ve been too shaky, tired, nauseous to even climb stairs. Any ideas of how to fix this or what the cause could be?

Hello,
Cutting your sugar intake won't cause any problem but cutting on your salt drastically can cause fatigue and moreover since you are also doing heavy workouts and playing also, this also results in sweating and dehydration which in turn also looses not only salt but potassium also.
I would advise you to take more of coconut water and lemon water.
Increase your salt intake a bit.
You should be all right soon.
Thanks
