Could Delayed Periods Along With Nausea Be Due To Norcolut Pills?
\Hi good night. My period started on the 24 of june was taking some birth control ( perle )it cause me to have perlong bleeding doctor prescribed norcolut on the 8 of july after first 2 days i started feeling nauseous so i stop taking them 2 days after period stop. Had sex on the 25 of July and still haven t gotten a period could it be that i am pregnant or its the pills that have change my cycle why i haven t gotten a period
Nausea, vomiting, dizziness or fatigue are some of the common adverse effects of hormonal pills.Not all the adverse effects occur in all the patients. Some of the side effects usually reduces with further cycles.
Norethisterone as an emergency contraceptive can be used when other efficacious drugs like levonorgesterol is not available. Moreover, since you have skipped the dose on 2 days, there is definitely chance of pregnancy. Kindly take a urine test in case you have missed periods by more than 7 to 10 days.
