I have been taking duromine 30 mg for about 3 months and have not had a menstrual cycle since I ve started taking it. My menstrual cycle was always every 28 days. My cycles started getting shorter before I started taking duromine - From 28 days, it went to 24 days, then 21 days and then 19 days. After starting duromine, I haven t received it yet. I am 43 and have not had any children. I am also not pregnant. Could duromine be to blame for me not having a period, or could it be the start of menopause ?
Occasionally medications like Duromine can cause a delayed or a missed period, but it shouldn't cause you to go three months without a period. Unless there has also been significant weight loss, this can sometimes cause a significant change in your cycles. However, after three months without a period, you should see your doctor and make sure nothing else is causing the problem such as thyroid hormone imbalance or other hormonal problems. I hope this answers your question. please let me know if you need anything else.
