Could Eating Instant Oat Meal Cause Yeast Infection?

Hi i wanted to know if eating instant oatmeal can cause yeast infections, also if powdered vegetable drinks could cause them as well or any vitamin supplement? These are the only things I started doing differently in my diet and i began to get yeast infections (which I never get) I am very healthy and do not eat any sugar.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. No, eating instant oat meal, or powdered vegetable drinks or supplements does not cause yeast infection.
2. Yeast infection is usually seen in moist areas. Excessive moisture for long time, predisposes to yeast infection. With diabetes mellitus, incidence increases.
3. Keep the area dry and apply anti-fungal powders like monistat etc. It will help. Continue with your healthy diet and exercises.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
