Could Erectile Dysfunction Be Due To Hypertension?

Hi, I am 25 years old male. before 3 years, when I was in home after my graduation during recession, I used to get head aches whenever i go to bed & wake up. I consulted a doctor & he measured my BP & found it to be around 140/80. He said I have BP. But immediatelyafter a week or so, I consulted other doctor, where also they measured BP. But, it was normal at that time. Again after an year, when my BP was measued. it was again aow,round 140/80. During those periods when I was in home, I was under considerable stress which really led me to a level of going for a HIV test. After that, I get into a job & now I feel like I have a erectiledysfunction as my morning erections & erection due tovisual stimulations are gone. Is this could be because of Hypertension?

long term uncontrolled hypertension can cause erectile dysfunction, but at the age of 25 years with 140/80 BP, i think that is not the cause for ypur erectile dysfunction.

u said your morning erection has gone, i dont know how u have measured that?
there is a technique, u can cut a long strip of paper and wrap it around your penis at night when it is not in erection and fix it around the midway of the shaft of penis with gum..and sleep..in the morning if u have erection when u wake u u ll find that the strip of paper has ruptured that means your erection is normal..try this test before considering it as loss of morning erection..

u have also said that u ve lost the erection on stimulation also..that me be due to stress and anxiety also. i suggest u to consult a psychiatrist and go for evaluation, ask him all your concerns and then he will guide u for your problems..
