Could Estradiol Gel And Progesterone Cause Severe Abdominal Cramps And Sharp Pain In Lower Back?

I am a 53 year old woman who has been taking estradiol gel 0.06% (2 pumps) daily and 100mg of progesterone daily for the last two months. I am now experiencing severe abdominal cramping and sharp lower back pain. Can either one of these drugs cause these side effects?

Hi, I had gone through your query and understand your concerns.

Progesterone rarely has the side effect of abdominal cramping which is radiated to lower back. But it little bit rare.
Hope this helps you. Thank you
