Could Fecal Matter In Nose Cause Sore Throat And Sinus?
This may sound very silly, but it's true...I accidentally got a small amount of fecal matter in my right nostril. I cleaned it out, but after a few days I am starting to have sinus issues, runny nose, sore throat. Could that be the cause or just a common cold?

in all likely hood you may just be having a cold and it was a coincidence
but to be doubly sure please do get a culture of the secretions from your nose done.
it will clear up things and also your doubt, if there grows any organism it can be treated with appropriate antibiots
