Could Frequent Vomiting, Cramps In Stomach And Lower Back Pain Indicate Food Poisoning?
i believe I have food poisoning. I started getting sick about an hour after I ate last night and was throwing up about every 15 minutes untill about 4 hours ago. The one symptom I have that kind of Freaks me out it sevre lower pack pain. My stomache is super cramped but my lower back is on fire. What could be causing this?
Hello and thanks for writing. I can understand your concern and will do my best to help you in the best way possible.
From your symptoms it seems that you could be having food poisoning. However other conditions like Gastroenteritis, IBS or Crohn's disease could also br considered. I suggest you to go and see your physician who may examine and investigate you with some blood work, stool test, USG and other tests to arrive at the final diagnosis. In the mean time you can increase your fluid intake alongwith electrolytes so as to avoid dehydration. If you have any dizziness or blood in stools or falling urine output you should immediately visit nearby hospital to get checked.
Hope it helps you.
Regards Dr Manish Jha
