Could Genital Warts Be A Result Of Different Sexual Encounters?

I have been married for over 30 yrs and have never had sex with anyone but my husband. I think that I may have a genital wart on my labia. Would I have had to get this from my husband and would that be due to him having sexual relations with someone else?

Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
I had gone through your history and understand your concern,
Genital warts are a sexually transmitted infection (STI),HPV infection around the genitals is common.
Most people with HPV infection have no symptoms.
HPV infection spreads from one person to another through sexual contact involving the anus, mouth, or vagina.
Person who can spread the warts even if you do not see them.
Not everyone who has come into contact with the HPV virus will develop genital warts.
You are more likely to get genital warts
If you have multiple sexual partners
Do not know if you had sex with someone who had STIs
If you are sexually active at an early age.
Hope i had cleared your doubts. Feel free to ask the query.
