Could Hand Pain With Bruising, Swelling Be Due To The Old Fracture?

the top of my hand has been hurting for almost a week. It feels like a bruise but doesn t have the black & blue color of a bruise & it is a little swollen. I have broken this same arm about 30 yrs & have pain in the area where it was broke with weather changes, could my hand be hurting in association to this?
