Could History Of Pulmonary Embolism Or Spinal Injury Be The Cause Pain In Ribs?

I have very sharp pain on the right side back of my ribs. I haven't done anything to cause this but I was in an automobile accident on 08/31/13 and it did some spine and back injury. The other thing is, this was happening on the right side for about 5 days and now is on the left side??? I've had a pulmonary embolism in 2010 and I'm scared but I don't have insurance.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern you must be having pain but that must not be due to the embolism but could be due to the accident and this will come around now because the injury have had happened since months ago, so no need to take any medicine, if this does not get well then you have to go for x-ray study to rule out the fracture part, take care have good luck.
