Could Insomnia, Panic Attacks, Mood Swings, Feeling Of Something Crawling Under Skin Be Due To Taking Steroid Shots In Back For Pain?

I feel like I am losing my mind. two weeks ago, I had steroid shots injected in my back for pain. I started to experience insomnia within 4 days of getting injections and now today, I am having a major, I am talking major anxiety/panic attack. Feel like I want to start crying, my stomach hurts, insides feel like they are trying to crawl out of skin. I ve tried walking, it seems to help a little. I ve never had anxiety or panic attacks before and nothing has happened in my life to cause this. Am I out of my mind thinking there is a link with the steroid shots? Please help me.

Sometimes it happens after taking steroid injection. Steroid can lead to mood swing and anxiety symptoms due to sudden change in steroidal hormones level in body. In that case, you are feeling awkward, you can consult your doctor. Side effects would improve with time and in future try for low dose to avoid side effects.
