Could Intake Of Oxycodone, Acedaminaphine Cause High Blood Sugar, Itchy And Red Cheeks?

Yes my mother was taking oxycodone/acedaminaphine it made her sugar go up to 430 will that pill cause that and her cheeks were itchy and bright red my mother was taking oxycodone/acedaminaphine her face turned bright red and her blood sugar went up to 430 she is a diabetic

Your mother is using medicines for pain one is oxycodone is an opioid analgesic generally used for severe pain and in combination with acetaminophen which a basic medicine.Though this medicine can cause some side effects but it will not lead to raised blood sugar level as is the case.So lets have visit to your endocrinologist or physician to consult about the problems your mother is having.And also he will tell you whether to take than pain killer or not depending on severity of pain as i said this is reserved for severe pain.Take care of your mother.
