General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms don't seem to be related to Lisinopril intake. They are more related to a throat infection. I suggest to do a strep test for further evaluation. Meanwhile, I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms. I recommend using a mucolytic for the cough such as Mucinex. I also suggest to drink liquids.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
