Could Itchy Rashes Be Residual Effects Of The Snake Bite?

I was bitten on the index finger by a cotton mouth about 10 (ten) years ago. I was treated with IV fluids, antiobiotic, Benadryl, the arm was measured for the four (4) days in the hospital until the swelling began to receed, my blood was taken each 30 minutes and the hospital staff kept measuring my blood pressure. My fingers, hand, and entire arm swelled to well over double the normal for me. I am now having an itchy red rash on my hand and arm. My doctor says that the capilaries are breaking. I stopped all supplements to see if this got better. It did not. I am 68 now. I was 58 at that time, 5'3" and weighed around 150. I take blood pressure medication now. I do not take any type of blood thinner. Could this be a residual effect of the snake bite? The snake was nearly 5 feet in length.

No it is not at all the snack bite residual at all.

Snack bite effect can last only at the time of bite. It never lasts more longer than it. You have passed almost ten years so it never be a snack bite effect.

You have to show it to the doctors so that you can investigate for the accurate causes.

You can take cetrizine under your doctor guidance for itching prevention.
