I am 51 year old women. I have fought itchy scalp now for several years. It is not any thing like dandruff etc. I was recently told by my family Dr. when in for a visit that my blood pressure bottom number has been high last 3 times I have been there. This has been over a couple years. Could the itchy scalp be a symptom from high blood pressure?

As far as the relationship between scalp and high BP goes, there has been no clinical correlation defined so far. So you might want to pay a visit to dermatologist to come up with the cause of itchy hair. Thank you
