Could Late Periods, Soreness On Breast And Increase Of Weight Be Symptoms Of Menopause?

I am 42 years old. almost 2 yrs ago I had a tubal pregnancy. the doctor did a tubal ligation after the removal of the baby. I am now 7 days late and I am had soreness to my breast for past few days. I have gained 10 pounds in past 2 months could that be menopause. I did take a pregnancy test came out negative.

Yes, your symptoms can be related to premenopausal symptoms, but other possibilities like a hormonal imbalance resulting from the procedure, infections, any hormonal supplements you are on, etc; should all be carefully ruled out before we can assume your symptoms to be due to menopause.
