Could Metallic Taste In Mouth, Pain In Chest Due To Intake Of Premarin For Hot Flashes?
Had complete hysterectomy in dec 2012. Started having hot flashes 6 weeks later and was put on Premarin. Would this cause me to have metallic taste on my tongue? I also hurt in my chest when I lean over and feel like there is something in my throat and chest? This also started after surgery and taking the medicine.

The Premarin has nothing to take with your metallic test certain drugs of course induces metallic test but this drug is not among them, but of course iron deficiency can also be the cause of your metallic test If I would be your doctor then I would ask for hemoglobin test and if turns low then I will start the iron therapy and this will resolve your problem hope my answer would help you have nice day.
